9/15/19 The first day of Sunday School! Tie dying was happening,
and there were S'mores waiting to be made. See more photos.


9/8/19 Zion's three year olds are welcomed to Sunday School
and each one got a little lamb stuffie.

This year’s Quilt Raffle quilt is black, white, and shades
 of red (102” x 87”)
It's done in a prayer circle pattern,made by
Sandy Warmanen,and donated by the Eunice Circle.

8/18/19 Pastor Glen is back from the Boundary Waters

Zion's kids collect
the Noisy Offering
which goes to the ELCA Hunger Appeal.
A handful of change makes a lovely noise, but quiet money
gets the work done just as well!

Jesus' death on the cross and the garden where he appeared to Mary on Easter Sunday.

Carole gave hers to John and grandson Noah!


4/7/19 These beautiful quilts were made by the Sunday School kids
as their service project. They got help from
Carole and

who finished their lives in faith and now rest from their labors.

9/9/18 Bibles were given to the third graders and backpacks were blessed today.


7-8-18 Our missionary, Rev. Linda Johnson Seyenkulo, visited us,
preached, and showed photos from her mission in Liberia.



4/28/18 The Swedish Fika was a total success and the food was delicious!

4/15/18 Last Wednesday's American Swedish Institute Trunk Show was a 125th Anniversary Event
and it was a big success. Here Mark is showing how to use a stereopticon to see a 3D picture.


and the next day, a Zion gang went to Feed My Starving Children.


2/25/18 The special 125th Anniversary Quilt was dedicated today. It was
made by Jeannie who says it is a Log Cabin quilt in a Barn Raising layout
and is done in the blue and yellow colors of the Swedish flag. It is hanging
high in the open entryway to be a welcoming symbol to all who enter.


1/28/18 Dedication of the Archive Cabinet kicks off our 125th Anniversary year..
The lights are on and we can see the treasures within!
