Zion Lutheran Church Prayer Chain
After years of service
and dedication Eileen McBroom and Edie Thilquist have passed the mantle to
Cindy Biederman and Laurie Bauck as the Coordinators of Zion's Prayer Chain.
Did you know we have two prayer chains?
The original prayer chain is linked by telephone.
The second is via E-mail and we have 10 people currently invovled with this
Prayer Chain.
If you have a prayer chain request here is what you do...
1. Call Zion's Church Office (983-3368) and pass the request on to either
Karen or myself. We will in turn contact Cindy and Laurie. From there they
will contact the chairs of the individual telephone chains.
2. Keep the prayer request simple (i.e. "Please keep Bob Wilson in prayer
as he deals with health concerns" or something to that effect. The simpler
the better. The more involved the better the chance of things getting confused.
You remember the telephone game!)
3. If you are on the Telephone chain, write the prayer request down and
call the next person on your chain link.
4. Pray!
If you are currently on the E-mail Prayer chain follow steps 1,2,and 4.
If you are NOT currently on the E-Mail Chain you are invited to be a part
of Zion's E-Mail Prayer Chain. And it is so simple--just e-mail your desire
to be involved in this important ministry and your name will be added to the
list. As prayer request come in you will receive an e-mail from me
and you are free from having to pass along the request to others.
Receive and pray.
Can it get any simpler?
This is a great ministry for men and women, youth and adults, for active
and not so active. You can participate at home, in the car, at work and even
on the golf course or fishing boat! There is no other ministry that comes
to mind that is so flexible and easy to participate in and yet it is so important.
Please give this invitation your prayerful consideration.
